Hand Painted with Love by "Artsy Mind" (Review)
Hello everyone,
I hope, wish and pray that
whoever is reading this post must be having a great day. It is said that, “He
who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head
is a craftsman. He who works with his hands, his head and his heart is an
artist.” An artist is someone who always paint his own imagination so basically
he is present in his every art work. It’s a pleasure to meet such people who
know how to play with colors as every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his
own nature into his pictures. I love to collect nice paintings or other painted
stuff like stones, marble, jewelry, bags, shoes etc. I also love to paint as for
me painting works like an anti-stress therapy. However it’s always great to get
beautiful artistic items as gifts or in PR packages. Few weeks ago I received a
PR package from an online store named “Artsy Mind” (as shown in the picture
below). Lemme give you a brief introduction of “Artsy Mind”.
Introduction
of “Artsy Mind”:
“Artsy Mind” is an online store from
where you can get different type of paintings (acrylic or watercolor), doodle
art work and hand painted rocks and marbles. The owner “Khadija” is an 18 years
old self-taught artist. She started selling her paintings in 2016 and she said
that she found her passion for arts back in 2015 while exploring Pinterest. That
was a source of inspiration for her and then she took the first step and the
journey begins. She is improving her skills with every passing day and getting
lots of appreciation and love for her work. Her aim is to inspire the people
around her and to give them the confidence that nothing is impossible if they
just work hard. Her future plans are as beautiful and bright as her art work
is. She wants to become a professional doodler in future and for that I want to
wish her all the best.
In My
Mail:
“Artsy Mind” sent me a PR package of
their three beautiful artistic items (as shown in the pictures below). Those were:
1. An Acrylic
Painted Canvas
2. A Painted Hanging
Cork
3. A Painted Marble
The things were nicely packed in a
manila envelope with the name of the store written on it. Along with these
items there was a cute handwritten note (Ahh.. Handwritten notes are always
love) in the envelope. To protect the things from any kinda damage they were
wrapped in bubble wrap. So 100 points for their great packaging.
Review
of Acrylic Canvas:
First thing was a cute “Acrylic
Canvas” (as shown in the picture below). It was ready to hang, stretched cotton
canvas with wooden frame.
The base was painted with mix shades
of green and blue acrylic paints. But the green color was dominant. A beautiful
quote “Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost”, in neon pink color was painted on it
(as shown in the picture below). The strokes, lettering, colors in short
everything was nearly perfect.
The canvas was not only painted in a
great way but also the color selection was superb. And personally I love the
quote. A complete philosophy was there in the form of a simple quote with some eye-catching
colors to grab everyone’s attention. I’ll say that it’s absolutely right about
artists that, “An intellectual says a simple thing in a hard way. An artist
says a hard thing in a simple way”.
You can get this beautiful canvas
from “Artsy Mind” in just PKR 500/-.
Review
of Painted Cork and Marble:
The other two super cute things which
I got in my mail from “Artsy Mind”, were a lovely hand painted cork and a small
but cute hand painted marble (as shown in the picture below).
I always believe that it’s hard to
paint smaller objects because not only they need more efforts and concentration
but also they take more time and energy of an artist. Just imagine that you are
holding a little slippery marble in one hand and trying to paint from the other
hand…AHHHHH… that’s a tough job to do. But I love both these small painted
objects which were sent to me by “Khadija”. This girl must have some magic in
her hands. Seriously I love the perfection in her work. Both things were
painted too carefully and neatly. I was literally unable to find a single wrong
stroke or any other imperfection in both the items (as shown in the picture
below).
The hanging cork was beautiful. On it,
a green tree was painted in the middle of a white circle. For hanging purpose,
a small piece of twine was glued to the back of the cork (as shown in the
picture below). You can get it in just PKR 150/-
The hand painted marble was itself a
beauty (as shown in the pictures below).
A lovely face was painted on the
front while a magnet was glued at the back of this painted marble. Again I’ll
say that it’s a tough thing to paint such a tiny object in such a perfect way. Hats
off to “Khadija” for her superb painting skills. She is love and a true
inspiration. You can get this type of painted marble from her in just PKR 150/-
My Verdict:
“Artsy Mind” made me its fan from the
very first day. I love each and every art work of “Khadija” and it’s a bit
difficult for me to believe that she is a self-taught artist. Her work is so
neat and perfect that if you will get anything from her then you will also
become a fan of her skills. I love her work and will happily recommend this
store to my friends, family and followers. If you are planning to get some
amazing artistic stuff for your home or office, then “Artsy Mind” is the best
place to shop from. I’ll rate their art pieces as 4.9/5.
