What's Inside My Handbag???

Hello everyone,

                I hope, wish and pray that whoever is reading this post, must be having a great day. I’m the face behind the blog “A Girl and Her Journey”. I’m a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger and besides that I am a science graduate who loves to travel, paint and sketch. I have a keen interest in photography and reading. Today i'm going to share some secrets about my handbag with you all. :p It is said that never open the bag of a girl without her permission. It is often asked from me that what treasure you are hiding in your bag? Which no one can touch without your permission :D.  Being a girl you can easily understand the thing that whatever we have in our bags, is not less than a treasure for us. Today I am going to share the details of those gems inside my bag as I want to end the curiosity of many people around :D.

Usually I love to carry many things in my handbag and some of my close friends often call it “UMRO AYAR KI ZAMBEEL” :P as you can find all the useful stuff from hairbrush to safety pins and from hand sanitizer to coffee sachets. But today I am going to tell you only about those things which are essentials.

      Mobile Phone: I think there is no need to explain about the importance of this gadget. Although it’s an integral part of our daily communications but for me it’s something more than that. It has a big role in improving my photographic skills along with connecting me to my squad.

      Sunglasses: I am always a little more conscious about my eyes and try my best to protect them from bright sunlight and heat. So my Zara sunglasses are always there in my bag. They not only enhance the normal light filtering capability of my eyes but also protect them against the damaging UV rays.

      Wallet: Next most important thing in my bag is my wallet. It’s my mini bank and I can never imagine to go anywhere without it. Along with my few important cards and cash, I use to keep my id card in it.( Sometimes I also think about keeping a picture of mine in it, as I am not sure that anyone could recognize me with that picture on my id card ;) )

       Body Spray: No one wants to smell awful in public, especially due to perspiration. So I also use body sprays and perfumes to prevent body odor. My body spray is always on the rescue mission and sometimes it saves my life and sometimes others;). Now-a-days I am using “Olor Romantic Red” It smells good and its fragrance is quite long lasting so it’s always there, resting in a corner of my bag.

      Hair Brush: it is said that “Invest in your hair, it is the crown you never take off”. So keeping this thing in my mind, usually I try to brush my hair 2-3 times a day to remove tangles and to keep them straight.

       Wooden Hair Stick: I have long hair so I usually make a rough hair bun and my wooden hair stick holds it really well. Mostly I have it in my bag but in case if I forget it then a simple pencil or a pointer could be used for the same purpose.

      Lip liner and lip color: I don’t use much cosmetics due to my acne treatment but yes there are few things that I can’t put aside and one of them is my liquid matte  lip color along with matching lip liner. I have quite a good collection and love to use different colors according to my daily look. “True Brown” from “Kylie” was my pick of the day to get a fresh and bold look.

      Powder Blush On and Blush Brush: NYC Cheek Glow powder blush is my all-time favorite. I always keep it in my bag as it gives a sheer, natural looking, rosy red glow to my cheeks. To apply it I use blush brush from “The Color Institute”. When both of these beauties work together then they create the perfect magic and give me a fresh lovely look.

      Eyeliner: It is said that “When your eyeliner is on point, your life is on point”. So you can clearly get the idea that in a girl’s life how important the eyeliner is. For me it’s more important than any other makeup item. I can go out without a lip color or blush but not without an eyeliner. It completes my look and make my eyes look bigger and beautiful. My two most favorite ones are “Music Flower Longwear Gel Eyeliner” and “Oysho Dance(silver) Eyeliner”.

      Mascara: To get more volumized and beautifully curled lashes, “NYC Showtime curling 2 in 1 Mascara”, is a must have. I love it for its results. It makes my eyelashes appear longer and darker.        So I always carry it along with me in my bag.

      Pocket Mirror: Mostly people use the front camera of their mobile phones for the touch ups but honestly I am not good at that because the moment I will open the front cam, I will forget the touch up and start taking selfies. (Hehehe typical girly thing ;)) So for that I have my Forever 21 pocket mirror which always helps me for my touch ups. (After that selfie game is on;))

      Nail File: To keep my nails in proper shape, I use to keep a nail file in my bag. I also love my nail file for its cute look. It simply shape my nails without causing splits and cracks.

      Nail Color: Most of the times I don’t carry a nail color in my bag but sometimes I do, for may be another fresh coated look. I choose it according to the color of my outfit. Catrice 480 was there in my bag today.

These are the essentials that I carry on daily basis in my bag but along with all these I also have many other small things in my bag like, tissue papers, pointer, small notebook or sometimes a novel, paper clips and safety pins. YASSSS!!! My bag is ready to assist me whole day. lolx
