Makeup Products from Makeup Online Store

I hope wish and pray that whoever is reading this post must be having a fantastic day. You all have read my previous posts on jewelry items and thats why I thought that I should talk about something different today. So today I’m going to talk about makeup only. No girl could say that “I don’t like makeup”. People thought that we girls use makeup to look beautiful but I always believe that makeup is not a tool to make any ugly thing beautiful, it is meant only to magnify the beauty that already exists. So whenever you are doing your makeup then keep one thing in your mind that the truly modern makeup is that which enhance your look without dominating or masking your true beauty or personality. Makeup is not a mask. It’s an art, passion and expression. The thing that I like most about it is that by just doing a little different makeup or trying a different look, it can change your whole attitude and your personality. Few days back an online makeup store named “Makeup Online Store” sent me some goodies to try (as shown in the picture below). Will surely give my detailed review about all these five products but before that let me give you a little intro of “Makeup Online Store”.

Introduction of Makeup Online Store:

As obvious from the name, “Makeup Online Store” is an online store of makeup products. They have a wide range of different makeup products (mostly dupes) that they are importing from Dubai. They started working in September 2017 and their large number of satisfied customers is showing their success in providing the best products and service. Their basic aim is to deliver your desired products on your doorstep at reasonable prices. In future they are planning to add more different items in their collection so for that keep an eye on their account.

In My Mail:

Almost two weeks ago “Makeup Online Store” sent me five of their products as shown in the pictures below). What I got in this gorgeous mail:

1.       NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator (Gleam)

2.       Matte Nail Paint (Hot Pink Color)

3.       CR Two Way Nail Art Pen and Brush (Shimmery Mustard)

4.       Huda Matte Liquid Lipstick (Venus)

5.       Kiss Beauty Lip Liner (Shade #2)

Review of NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator (Gleam):

The first product that I’m going to review is “NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator” (as shown in the picture below). Makeup Online Store sent me “Gleam” shade which is one of the four shades of these liquid illuminators by NYX.

Product Description:

Gleam is a glorious golden peachy pearl shade. It’s perfect for the medium or darker skin tones. We Asians mostly have a wheat-ish skin tone and this shade is best for us. The formula is quite lightweight and provides a healthy and luminous glow to your skin. Unlike many other highlighters which have tons of glitter and shimmer in their formula, Gleam has very fine shimmer and does not have a lot of visible chunky glitter. It gives a dewy glow to the skin without emphasizing the pores. It’s a multi-functional liquid illuminator that could be used on its own with your fingers to your highpoints or you can mix it with your foundation for a more healthy luminous finish. Depending on your skin type this highlighter lasts a good amount of time. For dry skin it could last whole day but for oily skin the wear time reduces and just to increase it you can use face primer and then set it with a shimmery powder.

Packaging:

This illuminator comes in a tube like packaging (as shown in the picture below). It’s a flat squeeze tube with a twist off lid.

Texture:

It is thick in consistency like any liquid foundation (as shown in the picture below). It doesn’t feel runny so you can easily pump out the desired quantity and won’t accidently push too much product out. On applying it does not leave a cakey layer on your skin and feels really light.

How to Use:

It’s quite easy to use this liquid illuminator. It can work as both highlighter and illuminator. As a highlighter you can apply it with your finger tip on highpoints of your cheek bones, cupid’s bow, button nose and brow bone. As an illuminator, you just have to mix 1-2 pea size drops of this illuminator with your foundation and apply it normally. When you use it as a highlighter it doesn’t dry too quickly and gives you proper time to spread it evenly and after drying it does not budge. A pea size drop gives a very glowy look as you can see in the picture below.

My Verdict:

I would love to buy it again because I really like this product. It gives a very subtle glow to my skin and as it has no fragrance and its stay time is super awesome, so I love this product. It’s so pocket friendly as you can get it from “Makeup Online Store” in just Rs. 350 (Approx. 3.5$). It’s packaging is not just sleek but also travel friendly so I can easily carry it even in my small clutch. It’s very natural looking shade and perfect for Asian skin tones. This product is not harsh on my skin and adds a beautiful glow to my face.

Review of Matte Nail Paint:

The next product that I received in this mail was a “Matte Nail Paint”. I got it in “Hot Pink” shade (as shown in the picture below).

Most of us like shiny nails and for that we use top coats. These shiny top coats are too good as they camouflage most application mistakes but the matte top coats are totally opposite to them. They magnify any unevenness, streaks or other issues on your nails. So if you are going to apply matte nail color then you should be very careful and your nails must be well maintained.

Coming towards this matte nail paint that I got in my mail, its company name is “Huda Beauty” but obviously we all know that it doesn’t belong to the famous cosmetic brand “HUDA BEAUTY” as they have no nail paint in their collection. So this company basically copied the brand name. It’s an 18ml bottle (as shown in the picture below).

Its intense and long lasting pigment (as shown in the picture below) increases its wear time. It dries quite quickly and takes hardly 15-20 minutes to settle completely. If you look at its formula ingredients then you will come to know that it doesn’t contain any harmful chemical like Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor.

Its gives a very nice matte finish. But you have to keep in your mind that if you are applying two to three coats then you should do it very carefully as uneven coats look really bad and appear as different uneven layers. So it takes a little more time to apply it rather than any other ordinary nail paint.

My Verdict:

I’m ok with this nail paint. Although I don’t usually like matte nail paints because they require more time and care to apply but still sometimes I need something different and for that this matte nail paint is good to use. I like this nail paint that I got from “Makeup Online Store” and you can get it in just Rs. 200 (Approx. 2$). There is a wide range of colors available in these matte nail paints. So now it’s up to you that which nail color you are going to choose for yourself but do remember that choose it wisely because nails speak louder than the words. ;)

Review of CR Two Way Nail Art Pen and Brush:

The third product that I’m going to review is “CR Two Way Nail Art Pen and Brush”. This product came in a 13ml plastic bottle and its manufacturing company name is “CR”.I got it in shiny mustard shade (as shown in the picture below).

Now a days I’m not into much nail art because of my small nails which are a result of my nail biting habit (yeah yeah I know it’s a bad habit and I’m trying to get rid of it). But when I received this two way nail art pen and brush, my creative nature compelled me to try it immediately.:D I will show you that how I use it but before that let me give you the detail about this product.

How to Use:

It has two methods of application. You can either use it as a nail art pen or as a brush. You can see in the picture below that the upper plastic cap is transparent and when you take it out you will see the pen tip (as shown in the picture below).

To use it remove its safety stopper and press it like a pen. The nail paint will flow through it and you can make any design of your choice (as shown in the picture below). So it makes your work easy and there’s no need to use so many nail art tools to make a design.

When you take the second cap out you will see a brush(as shown in the picture below).

It’s a thin brush and it makes it easy to draw small precise lines  or any other design on your nails (as shown in the picture below). I’m surely going to get it in white color and will make white strips on black matte nail paint. Sounds great na?

Its quality is good and it’s available in all bright colors.

My Verdict:

I like this product and I have a plan to purchase more colors in this two way nail art pen and brush. I will not say that the quality is super awesome but it’s not that bad also. I think it’s a good and handy product especially when we want to do some crazy nail art. You can get it in any of your desired color from “Makeup Online Store” in Rs. 200 (Approx. 2$) which is quite affordable.

With both these nail color products I do the simplest nail art on my small nails (as shown in the picture below). But once I’ll grow my nails again then I will surely do some creative and amazing nail art and post the pictures in my account.

Review of Huda Matte Liquid Lipstick (Venus):

We all are familiar with Huda Beauty Cosmetic range and there’s no doubt in that we all love it. The fourth product that I’m gong to review is “Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick” and the shade is “Venus” (as shown in the picture below). It’s a dupe that I got from “Makeup Online Store”.

This shade “Venus” is a deep taupe brown and gives a light pinkish look. If you love nude lips then you can go for this shade.It’s light, creamy and long lasting. It smells like cake batter that wears off after a few minutes. The reason why I love it, is its non transferable property. So if once you will apply it then there’s no need of touch ups but yes you need a good makeup remover to remove it. It dries quickly. But after applying it you will feel a little dryness and that’s may be because of its matte formula. But it’s exactly not like other matte lipsticks which are a million times more drying than this one. Besides that it’s good for an everyday minimal makeup look and you will love it.

Its lightweight formula glides on a thin coat of color that sets to a matte, transfer free finish with superb staying power and you might forget that you are wearing anything on your lips.

My Verdict:

I like such shades so I really like this one. The quality is good and because of its wear time I love it. You can get any other shade also if you don’t like this one. “Makeup Online Store” has a wide range of Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks (dupes). You can get it in Rs. 250 (Approx. 2.5$). So get your favorite shades now because there’s no such thing as having too many lipsticks. ;)

Review of the Kiss Beauty Lip Liner:

Kiss Beauty Lip Liner is a dupe of Kylie lip liner. I got the “Shade #2” in my mail (as shown in the picture below).

The shade is quite similar to the matte liquid lipstick (that I mentioned above) that I received along with this lip liner. It’s taupe brown pinkish shade.

You can see that it’s a pencil with a cap.The cap corresponds to the shade of lip liner (as shown in the picture below).

The smell is like the usual common smell of lip liners or eye brow pencils. The pigmentation is good (as shown in the pictures below).

Many people don’t bother to use the lip liners but honestly you should use it because skipping a lip liner is a missed opportunity to make your lips look fuller and more defined. Lip liner also keeps your lipstick locked in a place and prevents feathering.

My Verdict:

This lip liner is good and I like the quality. The pencil tip isn’t too sharp or hard that could harm your lips and this liner also doesn’t dry your lips like many other lip liners. You can get it from “Makeup Online Store” in Rs. 70 (less than 1$).

I used both the Huda Beauty liquid lip color “Venus” and the Kiss Beauty lip liner to achieve a minimal makeup look (as shown in the picture below).

My Experience:

My overall experience of using products from “Makeup Online Store” is pretty good. The products are worth buying and the quality is satisfactory. I will specially admire this store for its quick and fast delivery without any damage as makeup products need to be delivered with great care. I recommend this store to all my followers and friends as it’s trustworthy. I will rate their products as 4.8/5.
