Book Bundle by "The Bookish Space" (Review)

I hope wish and pray that whoever is reading this post must be having a fantastic day. It’s Monday and I’m sure you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was good. From last few months I’m hell busy and it was a bit tough for me to take out some quality time for reading but somehow in my super busy routine I managed to read some nice books and in coming days I’m surely gonna share the reviews with you guys. I always feel that where on one hand technology has made our lives easy there on the other hand it literally snatched some “CHOTI CHOTI KHUSHIYAN” from our lives. We don’t live in the moment but are more concerned about capturing it in our cameras and sharing it on social media. Even if I do a self-analysis then I feel like I’m totally captivated by this social media thing and sometimes it’s even harder to take out time for myself. Also this digital era took away the pleasure of reading from our generation and replaced it with video gaming or social media activities. However I believe that there’s no better and fun activity than reading a nice book. I love that feeling, when you are totally lost in your book and forget about everything else, and you are captured by the book, all you see are the descriptions and conversations that being to play out like a movie in your head. At that moment you don’t even realize that you’ve read 100s of pages. That’s what the pleasure of reading is. It gives you an escape from reality and you forget about all the worries and just want to live in that world of words. So always try to take out some time for reading because reading for your mind is as important as exercise for your body is. Another problem which we face is that the number of good bookstores are reducing and it’s a real struggle now to find a nice store from where you can get some good books. Luckily few weeks ago I found a fabulous online bookstore which not only gives you best quality books but also their service is great. The big and great news is that they don’t take any delivery charges. Isn’t that awesome? This store named “The Bookish Space” sent me a PR package (as shown in the picture below). I’ll surely share the reviews of these books but before that lemme give you a brief introduction of this store.

Review:

It's a lovely read and I must say that the author has the ability to read a woman's soul. You can easily relate to it and while reading this book I feel like someone gives words to my thoughts. This book tells you that who you are and what's your worth. More than that it tells you that what you actually deserve and how to move past an unhealthy relationship. Every thought of the author is moving and inspiring. If you really wants to improve yourself and wants to become a better and happier lady, then this book is a must read. Also it's best for all those people who are struggling with love and relationships. It gives a hope when you are completely hopeless and you are about to give up. Since 2016 I have read this book so many times and it always helped me to keep the high standards that I already have and encouraged me to be a more stronger girl. Honestly girls, we need to value our real worth and must remember that it's not always our mistake or not always to blame. Every thought shared by the writer is worth reading, remembering and applying. The best thing is that the book speaks to both genders and throws light on their insights of feelings and perspectives. Honestly this is one of the Best book I have never read. The author explains that what a woman wants and what she deserves and what she should expect from herself and from others. It’s basically divided into four sections. The first section is for women which tells you that what a woman is and how her man should treat her. Second section is for men which shows that if a man truly love his lady then no one can take her away. In third section the author explains how both man and woman equally play their roles to build a healthy relationship. The fourth and last section describes the thoughts of the author in the form of poetry. In short it's a fantastic book and definitely worth a read. I’ll rate it as 5/5.

Review of “After the Prophet”:

Review:

This book is written on a very sensitive topic of ongoing rivalry between the Sunni and Shia sects of Islam. An interesting fact is that the author connected this topic very shrewdly to the modern day. While reading it I feel like the author is lil more inclined towards the Shia ideology. And hence some of the things in this book might disturb you. So if you are going to read it then keep it in your mind that it's not a history book and the author gathered her data from different sources and then presented it in her own style. If I'll give my review in a more precise way then I'll say that it's a tale of emotions, rivalry, power, jealousy, faith and politics narrated in a novelistic style. The story revolves around the Shia Sunni split and its origin. The basic focus of Lesley was on three major split points. The first was the rivalry between Hazrat Ali (R.A) and Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) over the necklace issue. The second was the Battle of Jamal and Hazrat Usman(R.A)'s martyrdom. And the third was the battle of Karbala. In it there's a brief account of 30 years of rule of Khulfa Rashiduns, and all the major reasons and events which caused and widened the rift between Sunnis and Shias. From the last days of Prophet (PBUH) to the battle of Karbala, every chapter is a collection of different key events which took place. The best thing is that the author present every event from so many perspectives. She then connected these events to our own time. Like in the end you'll find a brief account on bombing on some imam's shrine in Iraq by Sunnis and the comparison of Arab religious leaders with German military leaders. In simple words I'll say that it will be a good read for those want to understand the historical background of Sunni Shia split without delving too deep into its details. I’ll rate it as 3/5.

My Verdict:
